Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi

Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi serves as Qatar's Minister of State for Energy Affairs and President and CEO of QatarEnergy, the world's largest LNG producer. In this dual role, he oversees Qatar's energy policy and leads QatarEnergy's expansion, including the North Field Expansion project that will increase Qatar's LNG capacity by more than 60 percent. Al-Kaabi joined Qatar Petroleum in 1985 and has held various senior positions including responsibility for offshore operations and LNG production. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Tulsa and has completed executive education at prominent international institutions.
