    Rolf Habben Jansen has been CEO of Hapag-Lloyd AG since July 2014 and a member of the Executive Board since April 2014. After graduating from Erasmus University Rotterdam in 1991, he worked in logistics for over 25 years, first with Royal Nedlloyd (later acquired by Danzas and merged into DHL) and then in the A.P. Moller Group, where he led Damco for five years beginning in 2009. Under his leadership, Hapag-Lloyd has continuously evolved strategically, significantly internationalized the company, and maintained a growth course. His contract was extended in 2024 for five years until March 31, 2029. The Supervisory Board cited his excellent performance over almost a decade and his success in navigating the company through challenging market conditions.
