    Keelan Adamson is President and Chief Executive Officer of Transocean, appointed in February 2025 as part of a CEO succession plan. He previously served as President and Chief Operating Officer from February 2022, and before that as Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer (2018-2022). Adamson started his career as a drilling engineer with BP Exploration in 1991 and joined Transocean in July 1995. He has held multiple executive positions spanning Engineering and Technical Services, Major Capital Projects, Human Resources, Operations Integrity and HSE, as well as leadership roles in the U.K., Asia, Africa, and as Managing Director for operations in North America, Canada and Trinidad. He earned a bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering from The Queens University of Belfast in 1991.
