Darren W. Woods

Darren W. Woods serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ExxonMobil, the largest publicly traded international oil and gas company. He joined Exxon in 1992 and advanced through leadership roles in refining, supply, and chemicals before becoming CEO in January 2017. Under his leadership, ExxonMobil has pursued aggressive growth, becoming the largest Permian Basin producer and expanding transformational operations in Guyana. In 2024, ExxonMobil completed its acquisition of Pioneer Natural Resources, significantly strengthening its Permian position. Woods holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
