    Christian Klein is Chief Executive Officer and chairman of the Executive Board of SAP SE. Born in 1980, Klein joined SAP in 1999 as a student and has held various positions within the company including Chief Financial Officer of SAP SuccessFactors, Chief Controlling Officer, and Chief Operating Officer (2016-2021). He was appointed to the Executive Board in 2018 as head of the Intelligent Enterprise Group. In October 2019, he was named Co-CEO together with Jennifer Morgan, before being appointed sole CEO on April 20, 2020. Under Klein's leadership, SAP has accelerated its transformation into a cloud-first enterprise, with cloud revenue accounting for over half of total revenue. He holds a diploma in International Business Administration from the University of Cooperative Education in Mannheim, Germany.
